David Childerstone
Founder, CEO
David founded Childerstone PM, creating a truly niche, boutique consultancy that focuses on working with clients to bring true added value to a development or capital project programme. With a passion for delivering projects and ensuring client objectives are relentlessly pursued, David is known for his pursuit of perfection and sets a high bar for his colleagues and wider project teams to deliver to.
David previously spent time at consultancies EC Harris, Rider Levell Bucknall & CPC Project Services as well as previous roles within the development team at British Land. He has unique and extensive experience with private sector clients delivering both commercial developments as well as regional retail, residential, hotel and logistics and Central London commercial developments. A Chartered Building Surveyor by background, David retains an eye for detail while understanding the overall strategic vision of a client.
Daniel Gaunt
Director
Daniel has 25 years of industry experience, having started his career with Faithful & Gould in 1997 as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. After developing skills in retail banking programmes and social housing, Daniel became an Employers’ Agent before transitioning into project and programme management.
Daniel has worked with big names such as Faithful & Gould, Blaygrove Ellis, EC Harris and, most recently, Fox Lloyd Jones. At each juncture of his career, he has delivered high quality services across a range of sectors including education, retail, heritage restoration, commercial, residential and industrial – to name just a few!
Daniel is well-versed in working alongside institutional investors and developers, and is proud to count British Land, The Crown Estate, JP Morgan and CEG as recent clients.
Tim Sansom
Director
Tim is a highly skilled construction and property industry professional who brings a wealth of experience gained from over 20 years of project and development management consultancy, having worked extensively in the both the UK and in Australian markets. Starting his career at Davis Langdon LLP in 2002, Tim has since represented many high-profile clients and led many project teams to deliver a wide range of schemes and project types, spanning multiple industry sectors including; commercial, retail, heritage, office fitout, residential, social housing, industrial, hospitality and leisure. In his most recent role before joining Childerstone, Tim has led the delivery of a complex 260,000sqft mixed-use (hotel, office & retail) scheme at 1 Berkeley Street in Mayfair for Crosstree Real Estate.
A chartered member of the CIOB, Tim is proficient in all stages of project lifecycle with core expertise in strategic project planning, complex construction delivery and contract management. Regarded as a dependable project team leader, Tim has built a valued reputation on exceeding project delivery expectations through strong leadership and technical project management expertise.
Neil Morris
Associate Director
Neil has over 30 years of industry experience, starting work as a Trainee QS before spending three years in Budapest as Site based Project Manager for AIG/Lincoln, leading the construction of the largest office building, Alkotas Point, in the city at that time.
Upon returning to the UK Neil spent over 8 years, across 2 spells with Turner & Townsend as well as over 7 years with Gardiner & Theobald working in various sectors including Residential, Higher Education, Local Government, Commercial and Industrial for clients including Capital & Counties, Sheffield City Council, Northern Foods and University of Leeds. Prior to joining Childerstone in early February 2025, Neil spent just under 6 years working at CPC working on various regional projects across the North.
Neil has extensive experience of working on projects from inception to completion, and has acted as Framework lead with numerous Clients, including University of Leeds and City of York Council and as such is skilled in stakeholder and complex programme management. Neil has completed NEC Project Management course as well as obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law & Arbitration from Leeds Beckett University.
Mark Scully
Senior Project Manager
Mark joined Childerstone PM in May 2024, following his previous senior project manager role working on commercial projects. Mark has delivered a variety of projects within the roadside retail sector, these projects include new build petrol filling stations, Knock-down rebuilds, Drive-Thru restaurants, extensions, and remodels along with HGV lorry parks. He also has extensive experience working with and delivering projects with a variety of renewable technologies.
Mark enjoys seeing projects come to life and enjoys being on site to see the project progress and problem solve with the construction team in line with the client brief. He has a real passion for delivering projects to a high standard and leads from the front in order to achieve this.
Rosie Teggin
Senior Quantity Surveyor
With over 13 years of experience in the construction industry, Rosie began her career following the completion of a postgraduate diploma in Quantity Surveying. Since then, she has built a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors, including education and most recently housing.
Rosie’s role as Employer’s Agent reflects a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects and contributing effectively to multidisciplinary teams throughout all stages of a project. She has gained a strong understanding of client expectations and can utilise her skills to ensure that exacting standards are achieved.
Alice Walker
Marketing Manager
Alice is a dynamic marketing professional with over 7 years of experience driving brand growth. With a strong history of delivering high-impact campaigns across both in-house and agency roles, she brings a sharp understanding of how to align marketing strategies with broader business goals.
Before joining the consultancy sector, Alice led impactful digital campaigns for brands such as Asda and Joe Browns, where she developed multi-channel content strategies that aligned with complex business objectives and delivered measurable impact across a national audience. Her work included managing high-profile campaigns, leading social media content, and ensuring brand consistency and commercial relevance. Now stepping into the project management space, Alice brings a fresh strategic focus to our brand and communications – helping us share the brilliant work our team delivers across the UK which is key to supporting our growth.
Emma Jones
Finance & Office Manager
Emma joined Childerstone in 2025 as our finance & office manager in the Leeds office. Emma’s primary focus in the business is focusing on all finance operations as well as having responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the Leeds office. Emma has over 20 years’ experience in finance sector working for various companies and prior to joining Childerstone working for the last 8 years in the Project Management sector for CPC Project Services, where she previously worked with David. Emma brings a wealth of knowledge of working in finance, which is supplemented by her working experience in acquisitions and administrations. Emma is a key part of our day-to-day finance management and keeping the team in shape on their project finances!
Irfan Raza
Building Surveyor
Irfan Raza is a Building Surveyor with over six years of experience across the public, private, and commercial sectors. He joins Childerstone Project Management following a successful tenure at AtkinsRéalis and RLB, where he delivered a broad range of surveying and project management services including large-scale condition surveys, fire safety works, contract administration, and NEC supervision.
Irfan brings particular expertise in managing refurbishment projects, education sector schemes, and compliance-focused works. With a strong foundation in both technical delivery and stakeholder coordination, Irfan will play a key role in supporting Childerstone’s growing portfolio of retail and commercial refurbishment projects.
Rowan Sutcliffe
Trainee Building Surveyor
Rowan joined Childerstone in the Spring of 2025. Rowan will be beginning a degree apprenticeship in Building Surveying in September 2025. The move to Childerstone PM is Rowan’s first steps within the industry and is looking forward to learning from a highly experienced team of professionals.
As a Trainee Building Surveyor, Rowan will be visiting plenty of sites to get a real feel and understanding of industry whilst working with different clients. Rowan will also support the wider CPM team whilst undertaking his degree apprenticeship and eventually his goal is to become a Chartered Surveyor.
